Creepy/Ugly sound!?!??!?!

So last night i was crusin around with my gf and my truck started making this weird grinding/squeeling sound coming from one of my front 2 wheels. everytime i would slowdown to pull over it would stop, thats the only reason why i knew it was a wheel thing. cuz at first it just sounded like a squeeky belt. it kept making this sound for probably 10 mins on and off as i would drive a few mins then pull over, but then it just Stopped and hasnt made the sound since. does ANYONE know what this might be? its weird cuz i dont want my sh*t to fall apart next time i go for a drive hahah
so if anyone can help me or has had this problem please let me know.

dirty brakes. happened to me once, I bought new rotors and those raybestos pads, supposed to be really quiet and clean, made squeaky noises when I first installed em. I took the brakes back down, and with carb spray, and brake cleaner, sprayed and wiped the rotors and pads down, then put it back together....worked like a champ

Maybe a bearing????

Mine had a noise something like that from the speed o cable. They get dry and start to squeal. mine has a spot were the outer rubber got burnt off so I just sprayed it in there and it stopped the problem for me.

my dads suburban made a noise a lot like that and ended out being the speedo cable too. the noise was so bad at first i had no idea where it was coming from until i noticed the needle jumping around. some white lithium grease took care of it.

I would guess to check your wheel bearings

It's an old Mazda. They just make random sounds. Kinda like when you get old and lose control of your bowels.

Brake pads have a Wear bar in them so that when the pads get worn,they squeal to let u know that they need replacing.Sounds like that our a bearing going bad OR the dust cover behind ur brakes got bent a little and is touching the

ive had a small rock stuck between the rotor and the dust shield. it squeeled for a few miles. i backed up and it fell out.

Comes earlier for some eh?
