So yesterday I park my car in the driveway and my parents com ehome later and tell my there's a big green puddle under my car. I'm like wtf so I go out and look and sure enough, there's a big green puddle under my car.

Strange thing is,it's leaking out while it's parked, and looks to be coming from the transmission area, but I can't source where the leak is coming from.

I start up the car,and nothing seems wrong. Just a little low on coolant,so I top it up,but it doesn't seem to be dripping out the bottom like when it was parked.

I drive up and down the road a few times, stopping and getting out and looking under the car to see if it's leaking, which it's not.

Drove the car to school and back with no leaks today. Get home, park on the slight incline I usually do and my mom comes home and says there's a puddle under my car again.

So what might this be? I dont know where the overflow is,and I can't see where or why it is leaking from near the back of the engine down the side of the tranny and getting all over my tranny fluid lines and crossmember.

Your parents are pulling a prank on you. They get home and dump coolant under your car just to freak you out.

It does sound weird with the fact you drove it around and nothing leaked, but when you parked on an incline it leaked. How steep of an incline is it?

Maybe you should drive around, park it on the incline and try to see if you can spot where it is coming from. I can't think of anything at the moment that would leak like that.

You can see it piss out from under the car after parking it. It did it today when I got home. I took it to the shop and they'll look at it tomorrow. It's either something as small as a hose gone bad,or as severe as the head going.

I hope it's just something small, but we'll see. It's weird. Stupid German American car.

lol well i got it fixed....put some stop leak in it.must have been a little pin hole somewhere, causing the system not to pressurize properly and leak, hence my little bit of a cooling problem. It's running much better and cooler now and not leaking.

My mechanic and my grandpa (who leaned me the money for the car) said I should sell it now while it's not broken and still has low miles. I just rolled 160 000km on it today and bought it with 127k.

Say goodbye to your caddy!

I've been told that using the stop leak stuff or anything that is used to stop a leak in the coolant system is basically killing it slowly...

Something about how it clogs all of the passages...

Well I put it back up on kijiji asking 4275 for it. My parents won't let me get another Mazda as a daily, they want me to get something even newer, but I can't afford dirt right now.

You parents must consider a new vehicle to be a social status?

Rock your Mazda and be proud of it!
