Question about the rain

Can I drive in the rain with two exposed viars???? I have heard mixed things. Finished the truck yesterday and i want to cruise it however of course it is raining.

The 480C Compressors are suited for exterior mounting. They are moisture and dust resistant and can be mounted under your truck....

So you are golden....

In my experience I haven't had any problems, I just make sure to check the filter(s) every now and then....

yeah...Cid has driven his truck with no bed for months in all sorts of weather with no problems.

i have 2 viair 380s. 1 mounted behind each rear tire on the side of the frame. drove it in the rain several times. no issue so far.

I have had two 480's under the bed, drove through rain and snow with out a problem.

thanks guys, it cleared up and it was awesome driving the truck finally. Still got some little shit to fix up. I have a rug covering the half finished floor pan. lol Also need shocks and I do believe I cut through my speedo cable because the miles aren't turning over and the speed isn't working. How hard is that to install??

Ya, being exposed is fine, what I did was clear caulked the area where the wires come out just to keep any debris/dirt from coming in.

Never changed a Speedo but shouldn't be to hard especially with your bed off .
