HO Alternators

So what are the choices to go with? Small Block Chevy Alt's? Anytone have any other options for 150amp or higher?

I think the mustang alt is 130 amps.

I like to alternate my Hos too. GM one wire. I have heard that there might be a problem with the regulation on Mazdas though. I can't remember who had problems with it??

so what year and modle gm 1 wires.... and which one are truley 1 wire....

company up in Ohio will custom wire the Maz alt to put out 160 amps.Forgot their name but the audio store I frequent here can get it if anyone is interested.Expensive,but if u r running a bunch of electrics,this would do it for u and it is a direct swap plus a guarantee.If anyone wants their name and contact let me know.

ya that's them. I actually ended up phoning a guy in hamilton and he's going to do me a 140amp for a decent price. I was going to do a twin alt setup but i don't wanna get into that because i'm doing a motor swap at some point after the body and stuff is done on my truck.

I bought an 80amp from a guy on here (B2200GT) which didn't work but it bolted up nicely and would work for some mild duty stuff. I phone the guy up and he weanted $250 for another one (some random alt guy) whcih for $50 more I'm getting a $140amp done which will do most everything i want.
