hey everyone, i'm lookin to get another mazda... a 91 2600 ext cab 2wd LE5. 5speed. this thing is loaded... chrome bumper, handles, taillight trim, front bumper trim, center console, full door panels with map pockets, AC, PS, dude... the works. 97,000 or so miles and recently replaced ecu i think. its white with grey int. body is straight as an arrow, dented rear bumper and like 4 nickel size paint chips, and a rust patch in the cowl. how much should i offer? he wants nearly $3000 for it, but kbb.com says blue book is $2400 in good condition. i was thinking like $1500 just cuz i'm a broke ass... what do u all think?
If he wants 3000, he wont take 1500. He MIGHT take 2500.
Sounds like a pretty cherry ride, but I'm with MazDAMN on this one. Personally if I had something priced at 3 g's I wouldn't take half of what I was asking for it.
I say tellhim book is 2400 and offer him that.
take some pictures of it so we can all see it
Isn't the 2.6 a mitsubishi motor?? If so tell him 2000 grand firm and drop a 2.2 with a 2.0 head in it! lol Sorry I don't like old mitsubishi motors! lol
The carbed Mitsu motors were in 2600's in 87-88 only.In 89,Maz put there own 2600i motor in the 2600 and it was there until 1993.BJ
take him a print out of the kbb report and start knocking the defects im sure 2400 is in perfect shape offer 1,800 MAX!!!
2400....2500....any more than that is too much. I would be thrilled to get $1500 out of my 93 Mazda, xcab ( raised back up to stock ) and it is SUPER CLEAN and everything works great.... nice or not, these trucks dont bring that kind of money too often these days...granted....that thing has like NO miles on it for its age
would depend on the drivability and what kind of overall shape the truck is in.... 3000 is a lot for these trucks stock...
