need some advise here.please

i just brought a set of 17" escalades from ebay for $42.00.... yes $42.00
there not the chrome ones, but for $42.00 you cant beat it.

now my question is what tire size can i run on these? I am not doing a body drop or anything crazy like that. I just want to lower it maybe 2"-3" all around.
i have been looking at different sizes but dont know which would look good.
i was thinking maybe a 225-55-17

are those the oem center caps? they look to be the plain ones

It has 3" blocks out back with one leaf removed. The caps are the plain Z71 caps available on eBay. They are a tight fit, but look cleaner than the stock Caddy caps IMO. Good score on yours!

are they the 16" Z71 center caps? i see a bunch of those on there.
most of them are aftermarket, are those the ones you got?
any modify i need to do?

Yeah they are the aftermarket 16" ones. They are kind of tight to get on, but if you take your time and use a flat screwdriver they will go on nice and snug.

The plain ones that were on the wheels when I got the truck had a few teeth popped off, so I don't know if someone did that to make them easier to get on or what, but with a little patience you can get them on there with all of the teeth in tact!

wow...what a steal....as for tire size it all depends on how low a profile you want. I run 205/40/17 tires on my 17 Yukon wheels ( which are basically identical to your Eskies ). Its just a matter of preference
