So I got a co-worker that bought a '95 nissan truck. I've convinced this 63 year old chap to make it a lowrider!
I've agreed to help him with his truck and do some body work in the exchange of a new Whirpool fridge! Woo!
I had him go out and buy an owners manual for it, but to no luck, the manual says the factory never supplied any specifics on the wiring for the radio.
Is there anyone here that knows what colors are what so I can wire up this guys radio?!
Dude, sweeet! I totally forgot about the 12volt!
Thanks, slammed.
Thats a good link. Added to bookmarks
ya just remember that the ground goes to the chassic as there is no derict wire from the wiring harness I have the same year truck and it was a pain to wire up.
good call v8, most nissan and datsun trucks need a seperate ground, It may work sometimes but its not correct, Because it can ground out through the antenna cable..
the easiest ground in a Nissan is one of the bolts\screws that hold the radio mounting kit in place....as you slide the radio in, simply keep the ground wire seperate and ( easiest...to the top of the radio ) then just gound it on one of the mounting screws.
