gas tank question

hey guys, i have a 93 xcab , when i bag it woud it be okay if i bought a regular cab tank (x-cab tank is too long) so that it will fit between the frame rails when i bag it?
i would rather stay away from a cell because i like my gas guage. any suggestions?

use a wishbone three link then you can leave the tank in the stock location

outkast, i originally wanted to do a 3 link but dev told me that might get expensive with having a custom link made.....????

But the answer to your first ??? is yes you can do it and work just fine. me I'm gone run a 3 link cause I don't wont to shave my gas door or relocate it

flipping the ball joints to the top side of the control arms will give around another 3/4" drop there is a tech right up on here about how to do it
