first mazda project soon, lets talk it out

Ok here it goes, I'm pickin up a 93 ext cab b2200 FI, auto trans on saturday. The plan is to bag and back half it on 20s w/ a 5" bodydrop. I'm goin kinda big w/ the bd cuz i wanna be lowere than most w/o goin psycho crazy w/ it. The rims im lookin at are 8.5" wide w/ a 35mm offset, the tires are 245/35 r20, so the height will be 26.8" i believe. Is that gonna fit under the hood or am i gonna have to get a couple 30 series tires?

Your gonna be like an inch into the door if you do a 5 inch body drop I think. I dont think your gonna fit a 20 under the hood.

5" BD is to the doors, Exactly...

For real? Cuz i was talkin to dev n he said 6-8 inches isnt out of the norm for mazdas, so i didnt wanna do that much but i wanted to be lower than most ppl. So does anyone know how many inches would be from the ground to the hood w/ a 5" bd?? If not i'll jus measure on saturday when I pick up the truck

5 inch is just too much in my opinion.3 3/4 mqx

i believe its around 2.5" to the pinch, 3" or so to rocker, id say 5" guessing to the door, and 6"-8"= all up into the door and also = dont listen to the guy that told you that anymore! lol

First off I want to say that I have personally seen a couple mazda's that have a 6" bd, and have only heard of one with an 8" bd...So its not something that cannot be done, or out of the ordinary...

Second, if you want to start something PLEASE go back to SSM! If you notice nobody else has made a negative comment...thats how we like it here on the BScene...
