didn't know where to put this because it has to do with painting the engine. i am painting the engine and driveshaft a ford blue on the 83. should i also paint the pulleys and maybe the engine mounts? i just got done scrubbing everything down, everything was caked with old grease and oil. all i am lacking on getting the engine back together is my head which should be back here no later than monday. so i am trying to get everything painted before then. let me know what you guys think.

I would think that the paint would eventually flake off the pulleys?

But I would say go to town with it!

I would not do it putting that much blue will look like you just took a paint bomb and dropped it under the hood. Me, I would go with blue block and breather maybe valve cover. and all the brackets black or silver.

im with pont. all that paint will be too much. i personally like an extremely clean natural finished block with some chrome or some tastefully painted accessories. thats just me though.
