On the way from Michigan to Colorado this little truck started losing oil and power. I left it at a Tuffy in Altuna after they told me the engine had maybe a couple hundred miles left on it unless rebuilt asap.
Within the past 2 months: new clutch, transmission, 2 new tires
Past 4 months: new starter, carb fixed, muffler, thermostat
Also in the past month the engine was worked on a lot - new head gasket - and cleaned up. I don't know what is wrong but oil is spitting back into the carb when driving.
This truck was getting 30 mpg on the highway before the engine started acting foolish.
any thoughts of why the oil is spitting into the carb while driving?
or any other known problems you guys might know of?

When you replaced the head gasket, did you get the head checked for any warpage?
