Will it fit?

I have an ext cab 2600. My question is can I put a reg cab bed on, or are the mounts different?

i think the beds are way diffrent. the standard cab are longer i think from the center of fender well to back of the cab.

I guess if the ends up being the general decission I'll just use it as my bar in the basement as originally planned. It's to bad the bed is damn near perfect.

u got kids or anything like that? itd be cool if you put a lil kids bed in the back of it or something. or even if you didn't...just something cool for around the house. dooo it up!

Im the kid in the house and I think im a little to big for that but your right that would be badass to do that if I had kids. I have a good bed on my truck, the only prob is I cut once and measured once in that order so where my frame notches are ended up being a little way to big. I guess we all learn the hard way.
