There is a 2600i 4x4 excab running around my area for sale. Does anyone know how hard it is to put the 2x suspension under one of these? The body is in terriffic shape, no dents, nice original paint. I just don't want a 4x. I have all of the oringinal suspension from my b2200. Is it a direct bolt-on?
I realize that the trans will have to be changed, but if I have to do major frame mods to put 2wd suspension under it , I'll probably pass.

The whole front suspension is completely different. The rear is the same.

the rear of a 2600 is leafs above axle.... the front completely different.... could be modded but would probably cost more then worth..... take the body and put it on a nice 2wd frame that has a shitty body....

nah...not worth it for me. I'll just keep looking. Some old man will have one with six miles on it that I can buy if I just wait long enough...I hope

If you still have the complete frame you can swap that under it. That would be the easiest thing to do.
