well i know that 22's will fit on a bd maz, and a 24 has the same overall diameter as a 22 with the right tire, yes i know theres a lot of susp mods needed but as far as the bed w a 3.5'' bd, does ne one think it will go over the bed rails? has ne one seen this done yet to a maz?
20's & 22's on the sema truck, and a couple others.....if the 3.5" bd will lay the bed out on the ground, then measure the height of the bed side, and measure the height of the total diameter of the 24's, if the 24's dia. is taller, then it will be above the bedrail....if it will fit, it will be sweet!
i wanna say the overall is 29.6'' of the 24 w/ tire. i think my bed was like 30 or 31 from the rocker to the rail.
sounds like a tite fit, but it could be done......
thanks for posting up my thread man. bad thing is mine isnt bd. dib's is bd'd but i think they are running a pirelli 285/25/22. they have there wheels brought in as far as me but with less chamber. that tire is 27.6 inchs tall.
the tire im running on mine is a nitto 420s 265/35/22's and thats 29.3 overall. the whole thing was setup using a 285/35/22 witch was 29.9 overall. i set it up using that tire because im going to be running 4 24's with a 275/25/24 witch is right at 29.5 overall.
so between the 275/25/24 tire and the 285/25/22 tire there is almost a 2 inch total difference in diameter. witch my 285/35/22 was within a 1/2 inch from the top of the bed rail. so personally i dont think a bd would work with a 24 in the back without sticking over the top. you have a 3.5 inch bd i think the top of my bed is right at 31 or so with it laying frame. so with that bd youd be at 27.5 witch youd be hard pressed to get the 25 series 22 under.
there is a ton of frame work to be done. and im doing mine on stock arms, spindles and moog balljoints. i have re7's in the front and yeild about 13.5 inchs of usuable lift. i also have a 1.5 inch z. i know if i kept the 22's and ran the 25 series tire i could get mine to the pinch at least. hell maybe even the rocker. oh ya i kept 6 lug to!
im a big wheel guy. id rather have 24's then a bodydrop. yea i know most will flame me for that. but its personal preference.

damn you runnin stock arms? wow, well im gonna be running tubes on mine or might even go with the whole mustang 2 set up. but thanks for the info, my ex cab is bd 3.5 and im running 18s on it and have plenty of room for more, but well see how the reg cab goes.
