OH BOY!!!

Just do your research here on the site and others as well...There are 4 major manufacturers of bags imo. Airlift, Contitech, Firestone, Slam Specialties

They all come in different sizes/model numbers/series. Here is what you can expect to see:

Slam Specialties (the best bag imo) for example has 3 different series of bags. RE/HE/XS all of them have the same basic sizes.

RE-5, RE-6, RE-7, RE-8
HE-6, HE-7, HE-8
XS-6, XS-7

The RE Series are rated at 200psi, HE Series at 400psi, XS Series 600psi

The number next to the model number refers to the Max Diameter @ 100psi in inches. So the RE-5 is 5 inches in diameter, RE-6 would be 6 inches and so on. The RE-8 and HE-8 are 7.75" in diameter.

Contitech has a similar approach as follows:

2500 which is 6.5" in diameter
2600 which is 7.7" in diameter

All rated @ 120psi

Firestone is also fairly similar to Contitech as follows:

25 which is 6.4"
255/2500 which is 6.4"
224/2600 which is 8"
26/2800 which is 8.6"

All rated @ 100psi

The psi rating is the Maximum Recommended Pressure, they are know to exceed those numbers and work fine... Maximum diameter of Firestone shown is at their maximum recommended pressure. However as pressure increases, so does the diameter. Slam Specialties sizes remain constant at any pressure.

Hope this helps!

You don't want air bags too much of a pain to install and not worth your time. Just leave your truck stock and sell it to the next old man you see with a motorhome.

No but seriously I personaly like the Slam Specialty bags. Tough as nails and depending on how much psi you plan on running they have a variety of psi ranges just like Dev just mentioned.
