A little Lost

My dad is the big wig at the local ford dealership.. A pretty decent sized one. Im graduating in 5 months and plan to go work for him. He's offered me a job as a lot boy mon-fri 9-5 8 bux an hour.. Or a salesman...Thru-mon 10/12 hour shifts but a minimum of 1200 a month.. Me and him are exactly alike and he was makin 7-10 a month sellin... So Hella money and no Shows.. or shows and no money.. Im leanin towards money... Just curious what all of you would do?

Go with the saleman position. You won't regret it. It sounds like a good opportunity that you should take advantage of. The only downside I see to it is that you will be selling Fords, haha!

well you need money to got to shows, money to spend on your truck, sooo id go with the money! like s10blazed said it sounds like a good job oppotunity.

Yea it would be a great job.. Just lots of hours and odd days off

couldnt be worse than mine man! i go in at 2am then leave at 5 or 6pm! most days. oh and only sat-sun off

well brotha, my old man owns a dealer franchise store of radio shack ever since i was about 3 now i'm 25 i work every weekend for the past 10yrs i've been here..... dont get me wrong shows are fun but with out the lute, you wont have anything to take to shows. and you can always take off on shows every once in a while my off days are tuesday and sunday....but shows arent everyweekend......

Yea I See what your saying.. I think im goin to do it.. and plan on goin to shows next year.. Ill def. Have the money to get my truck done now and get a daily driver

my buddy is a car salesman, he still goes to as much shows as he can, he is guaranteed like 800 a month
