im in the market for a new toolbox, my budget is $400. lowes and sears both have ball bearing drawered boxes about the same size for $400. any recommendations before i buy one? i realize that both of these are considered cheap boxes, but to me its a big purchase.

Craftsman, good warranty and I have one. You always HAVE to get ball bearing slide drawers. (I'm talking about the new ones, if you get a new one with just sliders they normally suck and seize up.) Don't bother with one of the big fancy ones either if your like me you will be happy with one of the classic square red ones, oh and make sure you get one with different drawer depths. It is really annoying if they are all the same you gotta have variety.

u sure craftsman warranties their toolboxes? i thought it was only for hand tools. and i know its not for power tools.

I think mine had a lifetime warranty I'd have to check though.
