im sure anyone who's on ssm has seen the debate about daily's ..

I HAVE to MUCH wrapped into my truck money wise to let some azz hit me in the winter time .. i flat out said once my truck is running i'll roll that every day in the summer time til begining/end of fall then she's getting fluids topped off and going to storage .. And i said that im buying a daily which i am (today) I m buying a 86 blazer 4x4 { yeah can't stay away from em} it will come out of storage sense im NOT allowed to have 3 vehicles here at the house .. ( uncles did that on purpose ) any ways once i get the daily she'll come out once its snowing . I tried 3 years ago now to drive my static dropped 89mazda (which is now bagged) in the snow and i didn't like it at all . I was working one nite and it started snowing . I told my boss welp im going home .they look at me like what? i said its snowing . im going home . i have a 2wd truck and i know its snowing worse where i live (i worked 45 mins from home) it was barely startting to snow at work but as i was driving home and got into pa it got worse . i managed to get almost home when i got to the one street that goes to my house . i pull up to the street the road is whited out from the snow and snow drifts . (YEAH thats how bad it got up here ) mind you i made it home pretty good at 30 mph all the way (nite time most ppl weren't out ) I pull up tothe street and its about 3 -6 inches of snow i have 4 cement blocks in the bed for counter weight .. my road that i lived on was winding and had deep ditches on the side of the road . basically a 1 lane road (still is) .. I Managed to drive the entire road home with the back end moving back and forth from ice./snow patches .... i pull into my street to which my house was down the ways a lil from the corner pull into the yard and parked it . needless to say that evening it snowed almost 13inches of snow . I didn't go any where for acouple days cause i was on back roads ..... thus the other reason whay i don't want to drive my bagged truck in the winter . so i m getting a 4x4 for winter .

what about you guys and girls?

heres a pic of her last summer or so in storage static dropped . i drove her like that in the winter ..

I used to drive mine all the time in winter, it was more of a plow tho lol one too many times gettin stuck in hardly anything after I dropped it the second time and said f- it no more snow... But my little truck has been thru everything imaginable. it was and still is a farm truck and it has done more work that most full size trucks out there. it definately owesme nothing at his point.

nope, the first sign of snow ethel hits the garage til the sun comes out again next year, i have the bed cut out and dont have tubs yet so that would just be asking for trouble and as mike stated i have way too much money in my truck to have some jackass withoutt insurance plow in to me, becuase around here in little puerto rico insurance is apparently optional
