I have done a horrible thing today.... HORRIBLE!

I'm actually working on my dash today and towards the end of the day, I was cutting PVC pipe that I was going to use for the gauges I'm glassing in. All of the sudden I see something white in the corner of my eye. An air gauge hits the concrete! NOOOO!

...whattya know, the glass is now cracked! Brand new gauge, $40 and now I'm screwed! Anyone know how to take them apart? The pops says I can take it to a glass shop and get another one cut out...

Damn, Sorry to hear that, Note to self: Put gauges in safe place.

Im sure a glass shop can make you a piece to put in there, or even a real thin piece of Plexi glass might work as well...

I'll have to talk to my fellow co-workers about this... Since I'm a freaking glazier myself, lol!

Have'nt worked in the shop though...

If worse comes to worse I guess I'll just leave it... If I can get it positioned at a good angle, you cant really see it. Just makes me mad, it was brand new, never used...

Yeah it will cost about $30-40 to make a glass circle at a glass shop. If it was square it would be like $10.
