I was thinking about getting my wheels now so I can set up the suspension as needed to accomodate them, I have not bagged yet , but that is the plan.
I have been playing with the idea of 18s in front and 20s out back but having a balanced ride hieght, no rake. Has anyone done this? Has anyone got pics and details on set up with 20s up front without a BD?
Any help apreciated.
18s look right as far as proportions go, but I cant help but want 20s.
yeah my truck has...or should I say had the 18/20 combo....nice becaue you can turn at a significantly lower ride height....hell I wil sell you my wheels if you want em...KMC nemesis
Cool !
Got any pics of the wheels on the truck?
What did ya do to the suspension?
And how much$?
And how old are they and do ya have tires? If so what size?
????????
Thanx
Dan
I found a pic of those rims , not the look i am after but nice wheels just the same!
Anybody out there have a pic of this done?
i was thinking of doing the same swap too, your best bet is to swap to a 5 lug wheel, u have more selection and offset options,
having the 18's in the front is a bonus cuz u wont have to do much modifying the front end to lay out, less cutting and blah blah blah
the 20's in the rear will look badass and as long as u have a large enough notch u wont have a problem, annnnd its got to sit center with the wheel wells, a few people move there axle back 1-2" depending on the size of wheels, also depends what set up u do also saves from cutting the drive shaft so it dosent poke into the tranny, i thnik i got everything
having the 18's in the front is a bonus cuz u wont have to do much modifying the front end to lay out, less cutting and blah blah blah
Thanks MIKE
Thats what I was thinking too. Less work up front.
Guys
Any pics would be sweet, of 18s or 20s, I want to see how it turns out visually, I want to keep the proportions correct.
Thanks again
