Question ^^^^....Will it Fit? Width and length? with Minor mods? Anyone ever done a 5.7L V8 Swap? Need lots of Info here...Cause it might go down! :D lol.

Haven't done it but that's only a 350 small block so you shouldn't have any real problems other than motor mounts, tranny tunnel mod, ... the usual.

Its out of a 1990 Vandura (conversion Van) its a 5.7L V8, not sure what kinda tranny, its auto tho. My Question is If and when i change it to manual, can i use stock mazda pedals and master cylinder?

Also Where can i find 2:73 gears for the rear end?? I got tons of questions

you could use the pedals, but i doubt the mazda m-cylinder has enough psi to engage / dis-engage the clutch......

the rear axle from the van? you'll need to find out what "bolt" rear end it is......then you ought to be able to get some from jegs or summit.

oh, before i forget, you will have to cut into the fire wall as the distributor is on the back of that motor......

Yea the 5.7 will fit nicly i have a 5.8 in mine the only thing thats sucks is u have no ring and pinion gear interchangeablity, i put a 98 mustang disc brake rear in mine with 3.27's and a posi...

ya just transfer the entire motor and drivetrain. im guessing it's 5lug also, so that'd be good. just get the axle shortened

I have to check to see whether or not the rear end is still any good. i think it might have locked up in the accident, i'll get some picutres of it today, and post up the progress of the removal, i dont think will get the motor out today, But will see.
