hey guys got a lil question to ask. i recently welded blocks to my frame under the doors so i can drag the mid front. i used to drag the ass end of my truck. now that i have a fiberglass bed i cant do it no more. i was wondering if i drag the front will the sparks be too hot for my air line? would it melt through? ive drug a hole in the line once dragging the back end. i have wire tied loose line to the frame, would it be ok there? is there some kind of cover material, like wire loom or something that i can put over the line? any suggestions would be appreciated. thanx!
depends on how you drag? do you go balls out or do a lil cat drag here and there?
i welded blocks to the front crossmember and i hammer the bitch all the time, and i havent had a problem yet
same here but im running hydraulic line so i would never have to worry about this
so then my line would be ok?
cool! thanx man for your help
also depends how u ran your air line.. and what type of metal your dragging. If you ran the line right behind the block to be sprayed down.. then i would worry. If i was dragging titanium.. then i would worry.. but if its just normal steel blocks and the air lines are directly behind it.. then i say drag it!
