:thread jackin: would it be possible to get an aftermarket speedo as well? if so what kind would it have to be, i notice the oem cluster has some sort of manual attachment to the speedo (whats it called)?
as for the tach, how or where would that be hooked up to ? ecu?
Does any one have a wiring diagram of the b2000 ?
thank you ppl.

yes you can get an aftermarket speedo.. but they are EXPENCIVE!!!!! Especially for one to work correctly. Because you have the gear in your tranny sending to your factory speedo.. you have to get one to act and read just like yours. There are other ways of getting around it.. like programing one with a sending unit on your wheel or driveshaft for example.. but the even COOLER ones are GPS.. mount a box inside your dash and have a little antenna mounted somewhere for it.. and BOOM you via gps know EXACTLY how fast your going.. no room for error.. but those babys are expencive.

Aftermarket Tachs are easy to hook up.. usually only having 3 or 4 wires..

Positive, Negative, Light, and Sensor. The sensor wire hooks to either the + or - of the Coil (depends on what tach you get)

Keep in mind that this is a very general description and you may find tachometers with more or less wires. Most decent tachs also have a slide switch on it to choose between 4,6 & 8 cylinder engines as well. Cheers
