What size tires are you running?
I have the same stock wheels as you, but the P.O of my truck but some weird off brand "sport" tires on my truck that seem like they would be more at home on a full size truck... get a lot of "whine" at high speed.

Honestly idk size, I been looking for these chromes for a while and I finally found them. PO had some Chevy wheels on and ripped the interior. Glad to find that junk yard today. My next trip to FL I have to check a bag full of Mazda parts. I want to restore the truck as much as possible.
