Do you know the age of the water pump? Don't forget that.

You just might need a new radiator, like a 2-row one. My B2200 was overheating a few years ago, and it was the radiator, not a head gasket, and not a thermostat. I bought the 2-row radiator from O'Reillys, that took care of it.

+1 on the radiator... Double check it and see if it's leaking, just had to replace my radiator with Cusser knowledge helping me and my truck never ran cooler. Was leaking and getting worse every day. Also replaced all hoses and thermostat and it runs awesome now.

You're welcome, Jiffy (got to play nice here, Jiffy may be getting some welding buddies !!!). Yeah, I had my B2200 on a road trip up the mountains on the Interstate and to Prescott about 8 days ago, real nice to see the temperature gauge never even get to 1/2 way up on the slope near Bumble Bee. Nice not having to worry about that. I replaced all my hoses Oct. 2011, and even though the bypass hoses near the valve cover and the heater hoses were original and still looked and felt great, I knew it was time to get new ones in there while I could do it readily, no regrets on that. Especially important, here in Arizona - like having tires that don't explode on the Interstate pavement heat...
