Hello everyone! Just got my truck about five weeks ago, and now I'm obsessed!
Here's the latest:
1989 5-Speed Single Cab w/AC - 79,500 Original Miles (purchased with 77,500) - Total invested so far (including purchase price): $2200 - From Craigslist: Truck, Titan rims, (2) 225/45/18 for the front, and (2) 245/45/18 for the back (came with stock 14's with new tires). From the junk yard: Mazda 626 seats, B2200 LX: center console, plastic 1/4 panel pillars, behind the seat carpet and molding, door and gas lid locks with original Mazda key, ash tray, tailgate (not from LS), bumper hole covers(not from LS, and not installed), VW Jetta horn, VW Passat telescoping antenna, and some other odds and ends... From auto parts store: front brakes, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, radiator fan, cooling fan switch, thermostat, spark plugs and cables, distributor cap and rotor, front and rear shocks, 3" blocks, 20 lug nuts, 4 wheel locks, pair of wipers, four cans of bumper/trim paint, oil and filter, and some other odds and ends... Ebay: 4" speakers, and (pending) Mazda caps for wheels. Work done: Installed previous listed items, painted front bumper, grill, wiper arms, taillight frames, 1/4 panel vents, and "wing" on topper/shell. Loosened torsion bars, cut front and rear bump stops, bled brakes, and... What's next/Wish list: tint, radio, subs, alarm, carpet kit, steering wheel, rubber mats, brake master cylinder (maybe...), power windows, HIDs, rear bumper, a good detailing, and ...
