well it has been over 20 years since i have messed with a mazda low rider. my last mazda was an 87 and it was static dropped. we dint have alot of the kits that they have now adays. but i just stumbled across this truck that was a trade in at a friend of mines car lot and i got it for 600.00 i have already went to a pull apart and purchased a bunch of missing interior goodoes and am about to strip it for a good cleaning and prepping it for paint, this will not be a daily driver but will be used regularly. i will post pics up tonight and will give more info as i go along. \\
a little about me currently i manage a rim and tire store. i have a back ground in fabrication, paint and body, fiberglass mobile audio. mainly been messing with imports, restoring classic imports, just finished a 93 toyota tercel, my daily driver mainly for the 50+ mpg on highway and cheap maintinance.
i will get home tonight and build a work in progress page for my truck. i see a lot af cool trucks on here and alot of new tech on the minitruck scene that i never had back in the day. seems like a great site if anyone has any great suggestions for sources for parts for the mazda let me know.
well the issues i have with the mazda now that need attention is the motor smokes constantly but runs great doesn't really smoke once it idles , plam to seafoam it and have a set of valve seals for it. next issue is clutch i basicly have about 1/4 inch of pedal seems to be slave is bad will replace this next week.
next issue is front suspension basicly i have none it sits on bump stops no shocks or torsion bars. rides like shat. will bag it in next few months. well will get into more detail later and post some pics. will probably have many questions along the way.

well here she is after grinding a few rust spots and variouse wounds prepping to be welded and filled pretty much as i got her except for the rear valance i got it at a local pull a part for 4 dollars. i will mold it in later. the only real damage to the truck is passenger rear lower corner. besides the suspension being molested by previouse owner.
i have also installed a few audio goodies i have had laying around.
