Hey guys, ive been monitoring the side closely for probably close to a year now, and it is thanks to all your wonderful build threads etc and tech write ups that I decided to do up my old 86 Courier (B20000).
Its a little harder downunder, not so much of a following. But I still get some looks..
I have tonnes of Plans for the old girl but all in due time.
Unfortunately I dont have any pics from before.. but I got her off a farmer who used her as a paddock basher for $500, she was rusted to the shit, tailgate was all manged (still is), in terrible condition, engine barely ran... but it was a good first car and now I couldnt live without.
Anyways, here are some pics.
Ill be making a build thread soon, and of course.. more pics..

So far Ive cleaned up the rust, and given her a once over paint job. Didnt buff or anything so Will be doing it again... Cleaned up all the body dents, looks good as new now..
In the front I have wound out torsion bars with the bump stops grinded off.
In the rear I have 2" Lowering blocks with a 3 leaf set up... Mine was the Commercial Vehicle variety so It came with 7 leafs on each side... I cant run a mono leaf till i notch the frame.
I've had a fully rockford fosgate sound system put in.
Head unit is a Pioneer.
1x P1000-bd Amp
1x P-400x4 Amp
Pushing 3x P3 10" Shallows.
Punch 6.5 Splits
Punch 5.25 Splits
As far as sound systems go in my town, mine is pretty much as good as they get, especially in a single cab..
My Truck had some ugly looking rails to tie stuff down with down each side... you can see that is why I have body filler down each side..
Ill be needing some advice for this... this is my first time really doing anything of this nature!
