NEW should i buy or not help

hey guys im new to this whole mini truck scene ive gotta civic that ive been building for a couple years now and ive got it almost to where i want it. its mostly garage kept and im lookn for a new daily and fell in love with these mazda b2000's. after looking around and for the right price i stubbled accross this
i went and lookd at it the other day and talkd to the guy. im not worried about the body work, that kind of rust/dents i can fix myself. the frame of the truck in the rear was rusted. not all the way thru but it was pretty bad i thought. i told him id give him 300 cash but he wont go any lower then 450. my only thoughts are if the beds really bad and i need a new bed thats notched so i can bag/lower how much will that cost? and plz let me know what u think of the truck. it started up fine went into gear good motor was pretty clean and bay. im going tomarrow again to look at it

thanks but i really need help on this buy cuz im really set on getttn the truck but the frame is whats worrying me right now....any imput ??? im not looking for another money pit ive got my civic for that i just want a nice daily that i can lay frame in lol

to get a good answer id have to see a pic of the rust

yeah thats my only worrys.....but if i drop it i need to get a notched frame right? so id need a new frame anyways?

not if you just drop it if you bag it you only need a notch not a whole rear clip

Welcome. And as Todd mentioned it depends on the rust. Odds are if the rear clip is rusted the cab mounts/corners are shat as well. Then $200 is about all I would give. A little test you can do. Get a bigger guy 220lbs + to stand on the back bumper(or in the bed if no bumper) you then look and see if the rear actually bends down. This = bad. Good luck man.

yeah i got under it today and really lookd at it and up front by the clips it was almost totaly rusted out i honestly dont know how the hell it was still holding up. so....now im back to square 1 of trying to find a truck, i really want a mazdaB....idk if anyone lives in indy or around indy i need something cheap for a daily....
