my B2200

This is my 1987 B2200 I got as payment from a tenant that owed me some back rent. It has a 305 Chevy v8, B&M auto slap shift and a super c-notch. Not sure why who ever build this truck did all that they did but it does look solid. I drove it for a while and its a fun truck. Take a look.

I was going to sell it but I may just wait till summer and finish it the way it probably should have been done to begin with. My pics are to big for this forum so here is the link where I originally thought I would sell it:

looks decent. how well does it run and drive?

it runs fine. I drove it back and forth to work for a couple of weeks and was actually surprised how well it ran. i had to bleed the brakes and put a head gasket on it before it could be used daily but after that I didn't mind driving it at all.

good lookin truck but whats with the hood scoop?anyways...is that your Fiero?those lil cars are sweet as hell!!!

Yep my fiero, I have 3 of them. My dad owns sage glassworks that makes aftermarker fiero assc. sells em. as for the scoop. what you see is what you get. I just took the truck as is. Not the way I would have built it as I have put together some rides in my day but its not a bad starter truck.

yeah v8s in mazdas are pretty fun lol. looking good but i would get rid of that scoop just my 2cents

I plan on putting a stock hood on if I keep it. It's pretty funny why there is even a scoop on it. Who ever put the motor in left the air cleaner stud long so it stuck up about a quarter of an inch above the hood so they cut a huge whole in the hood and pit a scoop on it. All they need to do was cut a few threads off the stud. Owell.

Dont know but I would like to put the mazda hood that has the raised middle on it. Im i correct in that it is from a b2600i? what years work?

Ok so i have decided to build the mazda. I have built several cars in the past and I hope that with the help of this forum and my current knowledge I should be able to turn out a pretty nice ride.
