another from VA

well im stationed up in arlington va and finally saved up the money and made the decision that it was time to get back into mini's. since joining the army i have'nt had any were to work on a truck for the most part plus i have a dodge quad cab that i have been playing with. not to mention the army does'nt pay well the first few years haha, which is why i have been out of the scene for awhile. so finally i make good money and the wife gave me the go ahead and we went and bought a 93 b2600i. when i got there to get it the bed was off because he had recently replaced the fuel pump, the drivers door was supposedly broken and would'nt open (he broke off the lock/unlock tab on the door panel and never unlocked it with the key which is why it would'nt open) it didn't have a battery and barely any gas. those were what i saw right off the bat. the deal was good and the truck is actually very clean so i went ahead and got it. well we got the truck running with his battery then took it out and got on our way home. the catalytic converter had a hole in it so the exhaust is loud as hell. the truck has been lowered and now resides on the bump stops, which is helping to make an interesting ride. a few miles down the road i run out of gas. which also means i have to jump the truck off again. im also an hour away from home. so we go and get gas in my dodge and come back. well i had forgotten the jumper cables so we had to go back into town to get some. making two trips into town. after one more trip i finally got it running. now after a long trip im about 5 miles from our house when the truck shuts off. after alot of road side diagnosing i find out the computer is going bad. so an hour later and its dark out i finally get it home. all in all though im reall happy with it. sorry for rambling and ill post pictures later.

first off is just getting cleaned up, cut the bump stops out and just go from there. i have'nt sat down and actually figured out which way im gonna go yet. i know it will have either hydraulics or bags and lay on billets. i also gotta fix my mother in laws b2200 first, just got her weber carb in so its first on the agenda. staffords not that far either, i actually live down alexandria.
