Well I am from NC I had a 93 Ford Ranger back halved, fully bagged, fully shaved, drop i-beams, 18's with 225/35/18 tires tucking center caps. I did some trading and had a '87 Mazda b2000 but only had it for about 3 months. I sold both trucks after having it all the way through high school after I found out I was gonna have a little boy. It has been 3 years since I have been out of the mini truckin scene, I now have 2 boys, a new house, a '03 Honda Civic, '97 Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab, 3 race cars, a racing kart, and last week I purchased back my '87 b2000!!!! Let me explain to you guys where I am with this truck.... When I went to get the truck he had the bed off, it would not start w/o being pushed off, had no brakes, no lights, no interior pieces, no exhaust, 1 nut holding the hood on, a flat black cab with 1 white fender, the bed was primer gray with a spray painted heart and flames down the side, the bed had the gas door shaved so had nowhere to run the filler neck. Ok so i took a deep breath set the bed on it put 2 bolts in it and started my hour long ride home hoping for the best lol! On my journey home there were leaves blowing out the vents all in my face lol! I had to go to the gas station to get gas which I still had no idea how I was gonna put fuel in lol! I also forgot to mention he had taken the door handles off the use on his 4x4 Mazda and had wired up the key hole to open the door. That became a prob. as I shut the door as soon as i got out at the gas station with the keys still in the truck. Any ways I reached in front of the rear wheel and had to pull the filler neck out enough to get the pump in. So after about 5 mins of trying to get into the door I finally wiggled the rod enough to open the door! So I was back on my way home with this very annoying loud truck. OK so...... since I have got her home I worked on the starter for about 3 whole days trying to figure out why it wasnt working (besides the fact that it only had 1 bolt that i unscrewed with my fingers!) i finally just put a push start on it, i have all the interior in it besides the inner vents which were all busted up, pathfinder wheels with 195/50/15's, ran the filler neck through the inside of the bed, painted the whole truck flat black, fixed all the lighting, put the exhaust on, slammed it to the ground with air shocks, bolted the 4x4 hood and 4x4 bed down, put prelude seats in. So yea as you can see I have had my hands full to say the least lol! I have tons of ?'s about Mazdas but I am just trying to see who will red this to know who will be willing to help me out. On the Ranger forum I know people are very helpful so i'm sure there are some on here! Sorry I made this so long but I had to vent!!!! I will take some pics of the truck. I promise you guys will get a kick out of this "tag box" he put in the tailgate skin. What he did was cut out the angled rectangle where a tag box would fit in and just welded the same piece back in that he cut out! i will also show you how he made a "notch" where he took a grinder and cut a notch in the stock frame! Please guys LMK if anyone reade this so I can start asking ?'s Thanks
