Hey guys, Im a new guy here. Just told a guy Im buying his truck tonight, a 91 B2600i excab, 2WD. I am just going to use it for commuting, but do plan on bagging it down the line, a daily dragger if you will.

I have always been more into the offroading thing, just finished up a Suzuki Samurai based buggy recently. I need a new project, and something that gets better mpgs than my F150 Ive been driving for the last few years. My brother has been into the minitruck scene, and now has a bagged 85 720 in the garage.

I work on cars during the day, so I know a lot about the way stuff works, but I dont have a lot of vehicle specific knowledge on these trucks since they arent on the road as much as they were. I have been reading a lot about them and some other trucks that fit my criteria (basically, I was looking for an import older truck, decent-good MPGs, cool to look at, including Mazda B's, Sundowners, 520s, 620s, and the Hilux line).

Heres a picture of the buggy, I dont have a picture of the Mazda yet, but will when I get it, hopefully the next week or two.
Just prior to completion:

Thats the most in depth build of any kind Ive ever done. I have helped my buddies with different things, mostly in gearing or suspension stuff. I have lifted a few Rangers, some Jeeps and Toyotas. I dont have any pictures, mostly because those guys have either sold their junk off for new projects or trying to get out of it . I am getting ready to help a buddy with his Samurai, doing a clutch, putting some YJ springs, Toyota axles and generous cutting for 37s.
