New to Site, New to me 87 Mazda B2000

I just got my B2000 last week, I actually like it more then my S10. I am thinking about doing some major mods.
Truck 87 Mazda B2000, has 2.0 engine, 6 lug rims tires (new), its the long bed 163k 5 speed, it runs and drives.
Problems
It squeaks, pops time for new ball joints, sway bar links, and some shocks, tie rod ends
2. First day driving it home, rock spiderwebed my windshield.
3. No rust on the truck anywhere but the bed is rusted from the previous owner not sealing the camper top. (That was cut off the first night I had it)
4. Front bumber, bumper side things, grill, and bottom plastic looks like it was painted with a toothbrush with black paint, its chipping and looks like horrible.
5. Leaking oil from the following, valve cover, and oil pan
6. Timing belt age unknown
Plans:
Fix suspension,
I am thinking about either changing the engine out with a KIA or changing all the gaskets, seals, and everything to fix it right, but I am afraid of the carb issues that others have had. I have a kia engine I can buy with the wiring harness for 225 right now.
I wanna do some body work to clean up the lines a little and make it flow, I would like to repaint after doing my mods to a blueish color. Haven't planned that far ahead yet.
