Been lurking for about 2 weeks now, Had some registration issues so I re-registered.
I'm in Fayetteville, Arkansas
I recently aquired an 84 b2000 That I'm trying to get road ready for now.
Speaking of, The head on it is shot, there's a nice huge junk missing between the #1 and #2 cylinders.
What are my head options for this year? I've searched on car-part.com and the closest one was still 3-4 hours away.
Will any other heads work? And will those other heads work with the other gaskets? I just bought a whole gasket set for the head and hate to see most of it go to waste.
Future plans for it is to atleast get it on the ground.

My wife competes in show jumper and dressage with em. She has a couple warm bloods and thoroughbreds.

What are my easiest, cheapest, 4cyl options with this truck in case I can't seem to locate a head. I keep finding engine parts at salvage yards that all say "head bad"
