new to forum, not to minis or mazdas

hello all, im from memphis tn. i have a ranger ive been working on for over a year now, and got kind of burned out on it. so i picked up an extended cab mazda b2200 for $250 to toy around with. it's in real rough shape. no interior, all the panels have atleast one dent in them, windshield was screwed off bad. oh, and whoever had it before my friend had a wreck in the front and cut the lower part of the core support off. so i get to rebuild that.

well ive had it for like 3 weeks now and have already put some chevy silverado wheels on, but the tires were way too big (255/75/16!!!) but i do have the tabs cut off to make room for em. going to have the wheels anodized or powdercoated black, then some 205/45/16's put on later this week.

then i took the torsion bars out, monoleafed the rear, and put 3 inch blocks on the back.

been to 4 different junkyards and finally found all the dash pieces, painted them black, and put them on.

found a stock door panel, and am making some custom door panels now.

replaced windshield

getting ready to put a roll pan on

painted a stock grill

got a new driver side fender and door

got a new hood



now for some questions :
will doing the weber carb swap let me eliminate all the emissions junk on the passenger side wheel well?

where's the best place to buy new chrome trim for the side windows?

any cheap place to get extended cab carpet?

Welcome to the site. Truck looks rough good to see your fixing it up. Yes if you run the weber all the emissions stuff can be removed. Dont think you can buy the trim from anywhere but a mazda dealer. JC whitney has some pretty good quality carpets for cheap.
