Hello Everybody,

I'm new to the board, I have an 86 B2000 Se-5. I have tons of projects on deck and I look forward to sharing tips, stories, and talking about trucks!

potentially stupid question, I know that raising the wheel size lowers the final drive ratio, but how does it affect the torque / off the line performance?

Welcome to the best scene on the web!! As for you question - none are stupid! As you increase the overall rolling diameter, you will see a decrease in torque / off the line performance. Something to keep in mind, you can increase your rim size quite a bit without changing the rolling diameter.

So I guess thats where low profile tires come in right?

Thanks for all the welcomes, this is by far the best car board I've ever been on. I had no idea that there was such a huge community of fellow Mazda B-Series truckers out there.
