Yet another Aussie on B Scene

Hi All,

My name Is Mat, I'm from a little town called Wallerawang in Sydney (NSW)

I've just got myself an 85 Ford Courier SuperCab, It's standard bar
having a 4x4 tub back on it.. I picked it up for $300au and it's in good nick
for a truck of it's age..

I will be starting to bag it in the next few weeks and will probably start a build thread with heaps of pics and so on once it begins...

Anyway, I've been reading alot of info up here and think the site is awesome..

welcome mat! from one new aussie to another haha,im lookin forward to picks mate is yours a late 85 courier? mines a late 84-early 85 so im just wondering whether yours is the newer shape cos i havent seen a spacecab version of my model before haha

Thanks bro !! Mines not in to bad a condition for a late 85 model but yeah it's still a far cry from some of the trucks on here !!! LOL.. But your right, it's the end product that counts hay !!

Yeah bud, mine's a late 85 model "Newer shape" but a buddy of mine owns a 84 model (B2000) that we are also working on !! He has put a 81 model front end on it to give it that real old school look !! he loves old school real bad... Doesn't look to bad either !!

I dont think they made the 84 shape in a supercab did they ?? not sure...

Anyway's, I'd better get off my ass and get some pics up LOL... should have some up in the next half hour or so...

Well this is my truck !! the only thing non standard are the crappy wheels and the Mazda 4X4 tub !!

I will be bagging it to lay on 20's which I will be starting in the next few weeks !! ordering my wheels tomorrow once I have a little more info on the correct offset and so on ... I've started shaving the tub on the other side also... I will be shaveing everything bar the door handles...

I'm replacing the front end from the doors forward with mazda 4x4 guards and bonnet, chrome mazda grill and mazda 4x4 bumper... I may even get new doors with one piece windows ... I hate the two piece setup !!!

I had already taken the front wheel off to have an eyeball at what I'll be cutting up soon and then remembered about taking the pics for you guys but you get the jist !!!

I'll start a constuction thread soon to once I get in to it !!
