Newb in Austin

Hey whats up? I've been out of the scene for a while and just bought my third mazda cab plus. In the process of rebuilding the engine now, then its time to redo the suspension. Well I just moved out to Austin, TX so if anyone is in the area give a shout. Til next time, take it easy.

I'm on the north side of austin. Yeah I'm definitely a system of a down fan, but my friends used to call my first truck chopsuey cause it was cut in every place possible it seemed like, just kinda stuck. I think my new truck will carry on the name, planning some major surgery on this one.

yeah i kinda figured it had something to do with the truck too. how much surgery on this one? i looked at your pics and damn bro, that 1st truck you had was bada$$. what happened to it? there is also another guy on here from austin named balcar. he has a shop somewhere over there. i think he is on the n. side too. i am supposed to be picking up an 83 b2000 already bagged, either tomorrow or sat. so we will have to meet up and go dragging.

Yeah this one's going to make my first one look stock compared to the amount of metal fab thats going into this one. My first one I sold when I was in high school (young and dumb) wanting to start fresh and it ended up in a junk yard being crushed. I'm waiting on my new head to come in, so mine won't be dragging right now, damn UPS. We'll definitely have to meet up sometime when I get her up and running. Let me know where his shop is, cause I might need to get some work done soon. I like to do my own work, but I'm living in an apt now and no longer have a garage. Hoping to rent a bay somewhere but we'll see how that goes.

I got the head from a guy in Washington, but UPS screwed up and its running a week behind time. Yeah after all the work I put into my first one, I saw it at the junkyard one day when I was looking for some parts, then my buddy told me it got crushed two weeks later. That was a sad day for me.
