someotherguy, i see exactly what you mean. I bet they would get alot more sales if they had designed them to tuck. For now, buyer be ware.

Sorry, I was mentioning the SEO wide track RPO off the top of my head... but yeah GTY is the other wide track rear axle RPO.
I really don't know why a regular dually - in other words a pickup truck style - would have a wide track axle option. At best it seems like it's what, 2 to 4 inches wider?
On a 3500HD (GMT4xx series, in other words 88-98 body style) the wide track axle is like 6 to 8 inches wider, more like the width of a regular dually axle instead of the narrow cab & chassis axle.
