Will a CC rear end work on an 05?

I have a bagged 2005 Chevy 3500. I was wondering if swapping out the rear end I have now will narrow my rear track like it does on the older trucks. Will the brakes and everything swap off my current rear and what ratios did these trucks come with? My truck being a diesel is geared with 3.73s. If I am going to swap the rearend I would like to put in a 3.42 or 3.23 because it would make it alot easier to DD. The fact that it makes over 400hp to the wheels and 900tq getting the truck moving isn't an issue. Thanks and let me know if this is maybe an option for me.

They do make C&C rear ends for the NBS trucks but I am not positive on the actual measurements on them.
