front seat ?

I have a bench seat out of my old 94 truck and was wondering if it will bolt up in my 79 does anybody know if it will?

Won't bolt right up but you can definitely use it. The risers are way too tall because the floor profiles are so different. Your squarebody has a raised floor. So you'll just need to unbolt the risers from the '94 bench and make your own framework for it, even something simple like a flat rectangle out of square tubing, set up so you can bolt it to the seat tracks, and then bolt it to your floor. No biggie. I hooked a guy up with a really sweet gray cloth bench from a '93 not long ago for him to mount up in his squarebody Suburban, he's real happy with it. I really should have kept the seat for my own truck but what the hell, money's money.

Cool thanks for that info the bench seat i have matchs my interior and i dont like the buckets that r in the truck already. I just like that bench seat look guess ill be fabing up some seat brakets thanks again man.
