1986 stock steel wheel question

My 86 cc dually is a choo-choo custom and has chrome steel wheels on it, the chrome has peeled in some spots and they look bad. question is anyone ever painted them black or body color and put chrome cnter caps on them? Pics??

mines newer but i painted them black and but the 02 center caps on them

Does that mean that all chevy wheels (dually) will fit on all years?

I think so until you get into the new body style that just came out.

the 01-07 have a bigger center bore but the lug pattern is the same.

are those trim rings around the outside? If so where did you get them?
