You will need shorter U bolts and by removing the two last leafs you would basically turn your 1 ton springs into 1/2 ton springs. The only cost you will have is the shorter U bolts, (2) shorter center bolts and a c-notch. If you buy the 4'' springs you still need the c-notch and the shorter U bolts unless the springs come with them.
