Spindal Question?

are 1985 Chevy 2500 SRW front spindals and 1985 Chevy 3500 dually front spindals the same and just the hubs are differant?

i think ive read the spindles are the same. the hub is what's different.
that is the reason people can get away with replacing their dually hubs, and use the 3/4 ton hub/brakes to "pull" the wheel in more when they want to use semi wheels. (although you may have to extend the control arms to get away from the wheel being "pulled" in to much.)

i just bought some stock 3/4 ton spindals and hubs for 50 bucks and wanted to make sure the hubs will fit my drop spindals before i tear it all apart...i shortened my arms 1 inch already but i want the wheels in further where i can turn on the dirt so gonna put those hubs on and lenghten the arms as needed...ill be sure to take lots of pics for you haha
