I just installed my 50 GMC Short Bus onto my 78 GMC Dually chassis. The front track is a little too wide. Was planning on widening the front fenders, but if there is an alternative--I WOULD SURE LIKE TO HEAR IT!?

3/4 ton hubs or 1 ton srw hubs.

3/3 tonne front hubs and hummer rims

It is currently a 1-ton. So 3/4 won't interfere with the suspension? I do intend to lower it at least 5 inches. Possibly bag it to lower it another 5 or 8 inches.

3/4 ton will work. Lots of guys do it to tuck semis. I'm not into semis...or bags, so I've never done it, but I know a lot of these other guys have. Somebody will chime in soon.

3/4 ton hubs will bring the wheel in 3.5" on each side

3/4 WILL BRING IT IN 3.5 INCHES . . . but won't that then cause the suspension to interfere with the wheel?

So the conversion continues. Installed the 1950 GMC Bus on the 1978 GMC Dually chassis. I bought the 3/4 ton hubs, to bring in the track 3.5 inches per side. Waiting to install until I find some 19+ inch wheels (motorhome?) as someone once said I will need. Is there anything else I will need to do to the front suspension? I will end up with some kind of custom wheel eventually.

ALSO, I heard you can run 16's on the inside on the bag with proportional tires on 19's or bigger on the outside? Is that right?

we offer control arms, which are available in 1 and 2 inch shorter then stock if that would help you any.

Yup. A lot of guys do that.
