I have been thinking of dumping the 16 inch wheels and getting a set of 19.5's. What tire size would I have to run with a 5/7 drop, with future plans for an air ride suspension?
Also, is this a good deal on wheels?
why you want to to with 19.5's. there isnt much tire selection.. why dont you go with 19's instead
where can i find some 19 inch wheels
tenn wheel and tire.. ask for trevor.
Thanks for the link. Some nice wheels there for sure!!
When running a 19" wheel with the low profile tires, should I worry about the load rating to be safe? Or are you pretty much throwing safety out the window with the small tires?
you can get a decent load rating due to all the suv's coming from the factory on big wheels. As far as 19" well...
If your worried about your boat I wouldn't. At the most you shouldn't have more than 200 to 300 pounds of tongue weight. And that would be a pretty high estimate. There are very few that I can't pick up the tongue on. And we get a lot bigger boats than yours in here. And you get to multiply the load rating by 4(the big advantage of a dually).
trevour is the go to guy for wheels he helped me out in a great way
No, not really worried about the boat, but I have a 31' bumper pull travel trailer that is by far the heaviest thing I have ever pulled. Before I bought the dually, we pulled it with a Ford Excursion with the V-10, and that rig played hell pulling up small inclines. Havnt tried it with the dually yet, but plan to within the next month.
I know hes selling a used set of 19s with tires right now
