I was going to say. I think my frame is lower than my front crossmember.

I got under mine witha 4" level and think the frame will have to be z. Look like and 1" to 2"

Yes, you could get away with sectioning the crossmember, but that will change the geometry a bit.

TowNasty had a 1" plate on the front crossmember and still layed the frame rails...

I sectioned the front crossmember on DragNasty rather than Z. But that was cutting edge 7 years ago.

If you plant on running semi wheels or tall rubber, you will need to recess the bag into the lower A arm.

i wonder i fthe K member is different on 1/2 3/4 and 1 ton trucks?

I think the crossmeber has the same issues if not more on the 1/2 ton. Not sure abot 3/4. But pretty sure it does because control arms will bolt into our c30.
