how would i go about mounting my front bags? thats kinda over my head on how that needs to be done since its a torsoin truck. thanks again for the help.

Ive never been under the front of one of those, but do you mean the LCA has the balljoint ontop of the cast spindle instead of under it like everything in the world?
yea the newer chevys have the LCA balljoint facing downward, nut under the spindle.
imo ditch the torsion bars(since thats what holds the weight and your replacing it with a bag to hold the weight)
What about using the DJM lowering control arms and adapt them to work with bags? Will this work? I have decided to bag the front of mine instead of a static drop.
how is DJMs quality far as the control arms?
i ahve put a few set of djm arms on 1/2tons and they seem like great quality arms.... never messed with a set for 1 tons though
well im buying a 01 crew cab dmax dually on monday. it has 167 thousand miles. nice truck! i talked to extensive and there control arms are 600 for the pair. my question is how willi raise my upper control arm? thats the only thing im having trouble visualizing. thanks

i belive all you have to do is make like a spacer to go under your control arms to raise up the center point, like adding a brick to the top of the pile, jsut adding a filler piece to get to where you want to go, sorry crappy way to put it but best i could think of, i know wsomeone has to have pictures
