Support it just to be sure. I think I have an extra belltech notch layin around if you are interested. I will check after dinner.
no real need to worry about the frame support, if you leave the bed on and do one side @ a time the bed will give you plenty of support for a small notch. but a set of jack stands under the back wouldnt hurt.
What he said will work...
about how long do you estimate it will take to cut out the cnotch with a dremel? it's the 11,000rpm model.
a really long time!....I would do the c-notch while you had the leaf srings undone for the flip. That way the leafs arent pulling on the rear of the frame.
With the dremel it will take an estimated 3 months to complete both cuts... ...and The way Nasty said with the leafs undone from the frame and axles is a really good idea unless the weight is on a stand....
ok i will do that! i got a beaver outback (behind the garage) and i know it only likes wood, but maybe if i put some sawdust on the area it will go to town c-notching it.
I have a beaver in our shop that is called a plasma cutter and it will fix your problems in a little under 1 min.....(insert evil laughing here)
yea well then it would take 28 hours and 1 minute to complete it then.
our plasma cutter has its own theme song, it a bad mother if u know what I mean. any welding shop in your area should have a plasma cutter, or you can use a sawzall. the dremel, leave it in the box lol
